12 July 2011 - Walking with the Nikon D200 with Tamron SP 35-80 F2.8-3.8 lens |
12 July 2011 I've been anxious to take out my old Nikon D200 for a while so I took a little photo walk around Mason. I don't have any autofocus lenses so I decided to mount my old Tamron SP 35-80/2.8-3.8 lens for the walk. The first photo is of the front of my house. I continued to City Hall to pay my Summer taxes, went by the new firehouse, eventually headed towards the Mason Elevator and back to city center. I dropped by Keen's department store to pick up some jelly beans for my wife and then back home. It is more difficult to focus accurately with the D200 than with the Olympus PEN E-PL2, which provides a 14x magnified view as a manual focus aid. There's no particular reason behind my choice of subjects, I just went for interesting compositions. Click on any photo to see a larger version in a popup window with photo information. |
