3 May 2013 Mason State Bank 5K Race
Prior to the race I picked up my 2013 racing shirt and numbered bib (with contained the special chip to allow the equipment to register my times of crossing the start and finish lines). The clowns were already on hand for face painting. The race volunteers were in the tent handing out the shirts and bibs. The shirts indicate that this is the 25th running of this race. This is the last few blocks before the final turn to the finish line - a brutal uphill finish! |

I turn the corner and see the finish line ahead looking like I may not reach it. However, I then sprint to the line in an effort to reduce my time by a few seconds. |
