26 April 2017 - Photo Walk in REO Town, Lansing, Michigan On the occasion of my 75th birthday I decided I'd like to take a walk around REO Town in Lansing, Michigan. I had participated in a Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk once that took place in REO Town and wanted to repeat this entertaining walk. Click on any photo to see a larger version in a popup window. |

The first photo above shows a plaque explaning the origin of the name "REO Town". Click on the photo for the enlarged copy so you can read this interesting explanation. There followed some very interesting city streets and local residential area. A short walk brought my wife Anne and I to the Moores Park, across the river from the Board of Water and Light power plant. For more information on REO Town visit the wikipedia web page. Spring was very much in evidence with many beautiful flowers and flowering trees. | ||
