12 April 2016 - Photo Walk in Chelsea, Michigan |
12 April 2016 - Photo Walk in Chelsea, Michigan My wife and I drove Chelsea, Michigan for my first photo walk of the season for this web site. We intended to go elsewhere, but things didn't work out. The first place we went with a particular lunch restaurant in mind, but they weren't open due to lack of availability of employees. We always enjoy spending some time in Chelsea, though, so we wound up there. We usually eat lunch at The Common Grill, a spendid restaurant with interesting food. We went for something different this time and weren't disappointed. There are some photos below showing our lunch selections at the Plaid Melon Cafe. We found out later that the owner has Scotish heritage, which explains "Plaid", but the "Melon" part remains a mystery. But the food really was excellent. As usual I took a lot of photos of houses. I can never resist taking photos of the Jiffy Mixes complex. I hope you enjoy the photos below (I did actually resist showing ALL of my house photos). The following photos were taken with an Olympus OM-D E-M1 micro four thirds camera using the Olympus 12-40/2.8 lens. All photos are JPEGs with only moderate post processing to a few photos and resizing for this web page. |
