18 February 2018 - Mason in the Winter (through Olympus 75/1.8 lens) |
I took a nice, brisk walk through my neighborhood using my new Olympus 75/1.8 lens on my trusty Olympus OM-D E-M1 camera. I documented some typical Winter scenes plus tested the capabilities of the lens. Since this is a micro four thirds camera/lens setup the angle of view was the same as a 150mm telephoto lens on a full frame camera. Since this was partially a lens test I have provided the camera/lens settings below for each photo along with full resolution photos for download for some of the photos. All photos were taken with in-camera Image Stablization turned on. All photos were taken with the 75/1.8 lens except the first one which was taken with the Olympus 9-18/4-5.6 lens. This was not a scientific lens test but rather a fun outing taking photos. Still, you can see the quality of the photos I took with this fine lens. Note that I processed the RAW photos using DxO Photolab software, including a bit of sharpening. Click on any photo to see a larger version in a popup window. |
