Checklist of Half Rupees (1862-1899)

The following is my best attempt to provide a complete list of the Half Rupees of Victoria 1862-1899. In general, the list provided in Standard Catalog of World Coins (Krause) is excellent. My list contains a few minor differences based on my personal experiences. Also, proofs are not listed below. Note that up to 1884 a "dot" mint mark was used, while a "B" raised was used from 1885 to 1889 and a "B" incuse was used 1889 to 1899. During the 1889 transitional year you find both "B" raised and "B" incuse mint marks. The 1899-B appears to exist only with an inverted B mintmark.
