Reverse Types I, II

Coins minted from 1862 through 1873 all have the date 1862.

The Half Rupee coin has two Reverse designs, which can most easily be identified by examining the flower at the top of the coin (12 o'clock position).

Reverse I - The top flower has petals that are long and curve downward.
Reverse II - The top flower has petals that are short and less curved.
