2019 Photo Walks in
Mason, Michigan (USA)

I am still mainly using the Olympus OM-D E-M1 camera with the Olympus PRO 12-40/2.8 zoom lens. I also use a Rokinon 7.5mm/ F3.5 Fish eye lens and several Olympus lenses, such as 75/1.8, 9-18, 14-150 and 75-300. Due to a fall while training for the annual Community Bank 5K race I decided not to participate this year. Perhaps I'll be able to participate in the annual Camino of St. James 8K/5K race in August.

31st Annual Commercial Bank Mason 5K Run/Walk

Last year marked my 9th straight year participating in the Mason 5K race. Circumstances prevented me from achieving a 10th straight year, but I was able to attend the event and I obtained a number of photos. This is always a major event in Mason and is quite a spectacle. The weather was good for a race except for the cold temperature. There was a large number of racers and spectators. Thanks to Commercial Bank for continuing this great tradition previously supported for so long by Mason State Bank. To see the final results click here.

Spring Fling

Mason welcomes Spring each year with the Spring Fling Festival event on the historic Courthouse lawn in downtown Mason. This year was the 36th annual event. There were many booths selling all sorts of things, many of them home-made. There is also food, entertainment, educational booths and, my favorite, the church ladies' bake sale.
